I played this with my friend tonight and haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Our story involved a fluorescent beige sigil on a thrifted Instant Pot, thousands of rabbits singing Barry White, a middle-aged author who exploited a loophole to live in a retirement community, and a cat ghost with two superpowers: deadly gas and a magic-sensing bum itch. At the end, a different deity was summoned, and I can't wait to play the next episode.
We had a hilarious session last night with the game!! I really love the rule-light system with a mechanic that requires us to be as creative as possible. There are lots of random tables and my favorite part was creating the words for scenario summary and actually putting it on the premise. The result was chaotic and surprising xD but that was what we aimed for the session!
But the other thing I like about the system, is how it allows for many different tones. The session can be comedic, serious, or even emotional.
We had a lot of fun, and planning to play the other scenarios, probably trying different tone as well. One session is never enough haha.
What a wonderful game!! Loved how the powers from both players are required to solve the mystery and bounce off of each other throughout the whole adventure, and I loved the GMless mystery generation too. We ended up with a fun case to solve while doing no prep - very much recommend, and there's a full review on TTRPGkids as well if anyone wants more info!
